Recently forced by Verizon in Florida to transition to AOL servers but able to maintain existing Verizon email address. New account with AOL is IMAP; old Verizon was POP. Stupidly deleted my old account within T'bird when entering IMAP server settings. I now have what appears to be a single profile containing ALL mail, both old and new, within 2 local folders - Mail and IMAP. But cannot read any contents of the old Mail folder (POP). Suggestions as to how I can get my old mail into the new account? It is all there; just can't get T'Bird to open it. Import doesn't work because of the POP/IMAP difference. Thanks.

Install this add-on. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools/

Import from the still existing folders from the previously deleted POP account into your Local Folders account.

Then you can upload the imported messages onto the IMAP server.
