We can set mailto to be handled by our gmail or yahoo mail web mail accounts. But I want to set it to hotmail/outlook.com

This is how you set it to gmail/yahoo mail:

There is an other option, but that pops open a weird mailto form.

Thanks for that link. It's a never ending loop though.

Your link points to here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-program-used-open-email-links#w_using-webmail-services

And then this link points to: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-program-used-open-email-links#w_setting-firefoxs-mail-client

And this link points back to your link, lol

Thanks cor-el. How did you find out the url? I'm planning on making an add-on that installs as many webmails as I can think of. But the hard part is getting their mailto url format.

Thanks again cor-el I read that support article and noticed it linked to AMO:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-program-used-open-email-links#w_using-webmail-services

But that is very poor. I decided to make an addon that allows adding/removing enabling/disabling of these mail clients. It's here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/mailtowebmails/

What do you think? My aim is to keep updating it with new webmails as people request it.
