Sound Keeps Playing On Youtube?

Hello, As of today (or at least I noticed it today), whenever I watch a video on Youtube, the sound from the video will keep going if I click to go to another page on Youtube, and only stop if I click to go to another video (or if the first video ends, of course). For example: 1) I am watching a video. 2) I click to go to a non-video page on Youtube, such as a profile or the main Youtube page. 3) The sound from the video in step 1 still plays. 4) However, once I click to go to another actual video, the sound from the video in step 1 stops.

I have tried seeing if this happens in Safe Mode, and it does still happen while the browser is in Safe Mode. I have also tried to see if the problem happens on any other browser. It does not- the issue is confined only to Firefox. I have also attempted to see if this problem occurs with embedded Youtube videos on other sites such as Tumblr or Facebook. It does not happen- the problem seems confined to the main Youtube site.

So, while this isn't the most annoying or hindering of problems, I would like to know....how do I solve this?

EDIT: Just a couple of things- 1) I have tried "starting from a clean slate" in terms of Flash (tried the "clean install" they have on their Help faqs) 2) The problem does have its own form when viewing Youtube videos on other sites, though it manifests as the video just not playing. 3) I will be gone today (Saturday) and most of tomorrow (Sunday), so if I do not reply with in that time, it does not mean that the issue has been solved.

I am still having the issue listed above- the edit was just to provide more information that I either forgot or found out.

Hi ponyparty, this was happening to me as well until I updated the second patch of firefox 27. I found that it was reported when it was in the nightly version as well: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=738123 However, in version 28 it is not reproducible if I am not logged in. It did this last week and it does not do it anymore. Please update or download the beta version and see if it still happens.

Yup, looks like it was resolved on my end too.
