Getting Alert that Amazon.com is an unsafe site with request to accept risk. What is up with this? Malicious re-routing possibility?

I am trying to check out at Amazon.com and when I do, I get a message that "This connection is Untrusted". It ways they cannot confirm the connection is secure, the site's identity cannot be verified. I have always connected to this site without problems. The message says that someone may be trying to impersonate the site and re-route me maliciously. The technical details claim that amazon.com has an invalid security certificate and that it expired on 7/30/10 (which has not passed as yet). What is up with this? I have contacted Amazon but have not heard back yet.

No, there is no uploaded screenshot.

If you want to get around the 200KB limit here, use something like Imageshack.us or something.

Is the Date / Time set correctly on your PC?

And it was indeed that the date was incorrectly set on my computer (cuz the battery is dead, which is what I'm trying to order from Amazon in the first place!).
