bookmark side bar opens and closes incessantly

the bookmark bar that opens to the right of the browser is popping open and close, usually so fast I can't enter text in the browser or read or look at anything. I'm typing this in notepad; it doesn't seem to be a stuck key.


This happened

Every time Firefox opened

Have you tried closing your bookmarks bar or moving your bookmarks bar to a new level? See screenshot for example.
