There was a hardware problem with my iMac; the Apple Store fixed it and in the process wiped the disk and reinstalled Ventura. I then restored from Time Machine. Most things work, but Firefox is one that doesn't. It will not open. If I click the Firefox icon in the Dock, it looks like it's going to open --- the icon moves to the right and bounces back --- (something similar happens if I click on the app in the Applications list), and then Firefox fails to open. No error message or anything. Firefox is still opens on my iPad and iPhone. Would it be of any use to reinstall Firefox? Would the new installation automatically find my Bookmarks and sync with the iPad and iPhone?

Open terminal window and verify if Firefox is running. ps -fe | grep firefox

If it's still not working, just reinstall Firefox and then you will have to log into your account for the data to sync.
