Previewing open firefox windows from windows 11 taskbar does not actually preview the tab?

I have attached what I mean below but basically when i have multiple firefox windows open and hover over to my w11 taskbar and then highlight one of the windows to preview it does not show me what the window is only shows a blank window and new tab (refer to img below)

What gives, is this an extension issue or something I messed up on? I alrdy have "Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar" ticked and also unticked but no difference.
