Hey, I've been using Thunderbird to handle my emails for a while now, but I can no longer access my Outlook account via Thunderbird, as Microsoft has disabled basic authentication for their Outlook/Exchange accounts. Lucky me, my stuff got randomly selected to do this already, and I am in no position to opt-in to basic authentication for a little while longer.

Is there some setting in Thunderbird that I can fiddle with so I can continue to access my Outlook account in Thunderbird? Or should I start looking for another free and open source email client that Outlook works on?

Regards, radzo73

Try oAuth2.0 authentication in account settings. Not available for free account is my understanding
