Cannot update my theme; "Version 1.0 already exists" continuously appears

I have recently created an update for a theme that I created, but every time that I try to submit the file, I am greeted with "Version 1.0 already exists" in red text. I don't understand as to why this appears, considering the purpose of updating was to get to version 2.0 .

Please disregard this message, I figured out that I just needed to edit a part in the JSON file in order for the theme to be marked as "Version 2."
