I have firefox v.77 desktop. I experience problem with disk cache available for usage. By default I have 2.1gb but for my needs I need much more. I have read existing solutions and tried them as well, so changing about:connfig prefs like browser.cache.disk.smart_size.enabled , browser.cache.disk.capacity does not work. BTW chrome on my device have 150gb.

Hi artem4, have you been trying to set your disk cache size in about:config? What have you tried so far? In case you didn't find it in your reading, you do need to set

browser. cache. disk. smart_size. enabled

to false or else Firefox will keep overriding your changes. (Note: there are not really any spaces in that preference name but the link filter is flagging it.)

Hi, yes I`ve been trying to set browser cache disk smart_size enabled to false and increasing,decreasing the defaults of browser cached disk capacity from 50mb to 22gb.
