Maybe install an older version of Firefox? Explorer has proved to be a pain to use.

I installed the version. It still doesn't recognize silverlight.

You would have to use Firefox 52.9.0 ESR to be able to use Silverlight.

You can install a portable Firefox ESR version to access websites that do not work with the current Firefox release. The portable version comes with its own profile folder and doesn't interfere with currently installed Firefox versions.

The post by Fred was a generic posting used from before the existence of Firefox 60 ESR. The legacy 52.9.0esr has been removed from the page as it is EOL.

Fx 60 ESR only allows the Flash Player Plugin to run like the current Releases.

Choose your system, then your language.

edit: fixed url from old 52.0.2esr to 52.9.0esr so people do not download older version by mistake.

Portable Firefox is the better and safer option in this case and maybe you should check version number ;)

52.0.2esr is early build of Firefox 52 ESR (from March 2017) as 52.9.0 esr (June 26, 2018) was the last.

So if anybody really want to this instead of the portable version of 52.9.0esr.
