I have an older version of Vista. The message said I cannot update Firefox without a newer version of my operating system. How can I do that?

Unfortunately you need to do one of the following:

  • If your computer can handle it, purchase Windows 7 or Windows 10 (preferred) and install it. This assumes your hardware can handle newer Operating Systems
  • If your computer can't handle it, buy a new one. It will come with a new OS
  • Alternatively, you can install Linux on your computer. Only do this if you are fairly knowledgeable about Linux Operating Systems though.

It is a VERY bad idea to continue to use Vista, it hasn't been updated in years, and Firefox will no longer be updated either, meaning that it is not safe to use that computer online anymore.
