After updating FF I got error messages whenever I clicked a link in Outlook 2010. I found this on the net: https://support.microsoft.com/sv-se/help/310049/hyperlinks-are-not-working-in-outlook So I ran MicrosoftEasyFix50388.msi and it made the trick. But ... now I get all links opned in MSIE. How could I change this back and how do I do then to make the links work and open in Firefox?

Does it help if you "double switch" your default browser? In other words:

  • Start Internet Explorer and let it make itself the default browser (or you can call up its Internet Options dialog, Programs tab, and click Make Default).

Does that fix up the settings for Outlook?

I think once you have run the file once, you can delete it. An .msi file is an installer only, and has no other purpose.

I don't know what that means! Do you mean a "scrap" file or "MS crap"?

I don't know what to say... I like Windows 7 and Office 2010.

I was only referring to the file I recently downloaded. I like the Win7 and Office 2010 as well. Thank you for your kind help!
