Help getting tabs half off bar for easy switching.

I have just updated Firefox to the latest version and now my tabs line up exactly with the ">" button but as a person who hoards tabs I find it much easier to click the tab when it is half showing to get to it. I tried a bunch of tab addons but none of them re-enabled this feature. I hope its not gone for good.
