It cannot show any of the "internal" pages like about:config or settings as well. It is also unable to open new tab. Just one tab is displayed always. I tried uninstaling a previous versions, reset to defaults. Nothing helped. When entering an url nothing happens, no progress, no message. When downgrade to 56 everything works fine always. Any suggestions ?

hi, just a shot into the dark: are you using any thirdparty security tools like malwarebytes anti-exploit or trusteer rapport?

No such security tools. By even some 3rd party will block this, opening a new tab shall be possible, right ? Even an empty one. It looks like some internal browser problem. Sometimes a zombie Firfox processes are left so I have to kill them manually.
