so in C:\users\(usernamehere)\Appdata\roaming\mozilla\firefox\profiles\x8px9trh.default\logins.json is were firefox stores it's passwords. My problem is that for some reason it is storing my SSH usernames and passwords to. any attempt to remove them just logs me out of sync and when I log back in sync re downloads them. So I was wondering how would I remove them from the .json file. For ssh clients I use bitvise and puTTY.

Sorry I messed up I forgot about the extension fireFTP and that is what was storing the passwords in the logins.json file.

You are saying that you previously had stored passwords as part of sync and removing a password in the Password Manager or directly from logins.json while you are disconnected from Sync get them re-added once you reconnect?

If you remove these items in the Password Manager while connected to Sync then this should work properly.

If you include the passwords in Sync then try to exclude them to reset the password data on the Sync server or change the password of the Sync account to reset all data on the Sync server.
