pc running too slow - this is a new thing.
loading programs is slow. I recently allowed installation of Avast, but just now removed the program - will see if that helps, but do you have any tips? Does my pc need a defrag?

You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Strongly recommend you remove the troublesome MindSpark altogether. Google for information and removal advice.
Do you use MindSpark for anything? Do you know where you got it?
