firefox pinch zoom malfunctions in google maps in windows 10

Pinch zoom in google maps reduces or expands entire page rather than map. Also has extreme limits as to how much it even works. This only happens using firefox. Pop up says" reset brouser to defualt settings" but we can't figure that out. Using Windows 10 on Acer Laptop touch screen. Works fine using other brousers.

In the meantime I might recommend trying the plus and minus icons in google maps. In android you can double tap however Firefox does not have a supported touch screen version for Windows tablets or touch screens.
