When using beta, does it update to stable on the stable release day?

This is my first time using a beta version of Firefox (29 Beta). I just want to know if it will update to 29 Stable on the stable release day, or is it going to update to 30 Beta? (I'm hoping it updates to 29 Stable...it's a keeper!) Thanks for your time.

Hi,

My own knowledge here (others may have different ideas). Firefox Beta will stay Beta with future updates. If you are on the stable release, then it will update accordingly. Same for Aurora and Nightly.

By using a Beta build you will be on the Beta channel. A easy way to get to Release channel is to install the current Release.

Once on a Channel, always on that Channel. It may take up to a week, but 29 Beta will be updated to 30 Beta.

OK, got it. Thanks everybody.
