After upgrading to Firefox 10, all my add ons have disappeared. How do I reactivate them
This morning I upgraded to FF 10 from the previous latest version. It was working well. After switching on the computer from standby mode and opening the firefox home page, I was shocked to discover that none of my previous add ons (extensions) were available, even though there were there earlier after upgrading.

I think I have solved the problem. I rebooted my computer, and then restarted Mozilla Firefox. When the web page opened, all the add ons which I had had previously, appeared on the tab bar, with a request to reinstall. After completing all requests and restarting firefox, all the add ons came back as before and were found to be working well. This has solved my problem

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created when required.
See "Corrupt extension files":

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to do a compatibility check or see if there is a compatibility update available.
You can also check for problems with the file that stores the prefs.
