Can't change font size,even though I followed diection in help menu exactly.Very nearsighted and need larger font especially in navigation bar.Thanks in advance

Try CTRL and "+" key (although this will make the webpage text bigger, it will not make the navigation bar bigger).
You will have to use code in userChrome.css to increase the font size in the user interface section or see if you can still find a theme for your Firefox 2.0.0.20 version (the latest that runs on your PowerPC hardware and OS X 10.2? version).
You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

Add code to userChrome.css below the default @namespace line.
The customization files userChrome.css (interface) and userContent.css (websites) are located in the chrome folder in the user profile folder.
