If so, it's definitely not intended. Please file a bug report on Bugzilla, Mozilla's bug tracker, for the developers to investigate (and share a link here).

No, roughly about ever 20th time I open the app and after updates. It's highly annoying, especially on days when I am searching dozens of times throughout the day for a work related problem.
