What's your computer system and Firefox version?

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

Open the file browser / explorer on your computer. Note: You may have to enable Show Hidden Folders / Files. Enter this in the address bar;

A Run dialog will open. In the Run dialog, type %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted <Enter>

Mac OS: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Crash Reports/submitted Linux: /home/<username>/.mozilla/firefox/Crash Reports/submitted

Copy the most Recent 5-7 File Names in the folder. Press the Reply button. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

Problem can download Firefox, can't get it to open. Please help. Regarding Firefox 91.0.2.dmg. same thing happens with 78.13.0esr.

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?

Nothing happens when I click on the downloaded file. I. have tried to find and use an application to open the download and have been unsuccessful. I do not even have a screen shot to send as no error message is received .

Is this with one type of file, several types? Is this with all websites/pages, some, a few?

Can you provide an example?

I do not run .dmg files on a regular basis. Therefore, I do not know.

You can create a new profile as a quick test to see if your current profile is causing the problem.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
