configuration issue with outlook.live.com
I have downloaded the latest version of thunderbird on my windows 10 machine . When i setup my existing account (@outlook.com) from outlook.live.com it filles in automatic the imap (outlook.office365.com) and smtp (smtp.office365.com) servers correct but when i try to download emails i get a error: login to server outlook.office365.com with username ...@outlook.com failed. When i logon via webmail with the same password i can login. Also i set the option "let devices and apps uses pop" to yes via the webmail. Rebooted the pc but no luck. Could somebody help me? Does the account have two-step verification? If it does, create an app password and use that in place of the account password.
