Several weeks ago Firefox stopped keeping me signed into Gmail-I never log out of it, but FF still wouldn't keep me signed in. I tried all the suggestions to remedy it but no luck so I followed the suggestion to reinstall firefox. That made things even worse: it won't retain any of my set (ones I have set to keep me logged in, or that I haven't logged out of) logins anymore, including Gmail, Facebook, Research Gate, and a bunch more.

I have gone through my settings in Options/Privacy & Security and made sure that all sites I want to stay signed into are in the appropriate place. I've cleared cookies & cache; I don't clear history because I frequently use it.

Any help will be welcome!

Please try : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 60.0.2 with a Full Version Installer
