Pandora plays with no sound on Firefox but it plays fine on Internet Explorer

The Pandora screen opens and appears to be playing but there is no sound. Yes, the sound is turned up, I have deleted my cache & history, restarted Mozilla, and rebooted my computer. When I opened it on Internet Explorer Pandora had a message saying someone else was listening to my account. When I closed the Mozilla page, the IE Pandora site opened and played with no problem. So, it appears Pandora thinks it is working when it is open on Mozilla and it does work on IE. Any ideas what would cause this. I do have sound when watching Facebook videos, etc.

I have solved the problem. My son had changed the config file to block videos from playing automatically as it slows down page loading in my computer. I have re-set them and Pandora is fine. I am wondering if there is a way to change that setting so that only Pandora has permission to load video/media and not every other website? Any ideas?
