Every time I open Thunderbird, I get a message that Thunderbird is already running....and I get the troubleshooting tab in Thunderbird.

Thunderbird does open; my email boxes are displayed in an appropriate tab, but I also get the troubleshooting tab. Plus I get the "Thunderbird is already running...etc". My profile was migrated from a Win 10 laptop to a Linux Mint 18.1 cinnamon laptop. HP ProBook 4540s 64-bit. See attached file.

Open the profile folder Close Thunderbird Delete the file parent.lock. Restart Thunderbird
