losing newsgroup subscriptions
twice now in the last few days I have lost my list of subscribed newsgroups and had to resubscribe and download all message headers again
running on win 10 laptop and both os and thunderbird up to date

I'm using the default windows defender, nothing like Avast or McAfee installed. I do have CCcleaner and Malwarebytes on my laptop but they are not in the startup list and only rarely do I ever run them... CCCleaner I haven't run for months and Malwarebytes a few weeks ago... it doesn't correspond in time to losing my news groups subscription (in my somewhat uninformed opinion. ) Thanks for the reply.
