My Tasks tab has disappeared and I can't find where to open it back up. I really need help on this as I heavily relay on this!!
My Thunderbird email wouldn't delete an email so I closed it out and reopened it. Not only did that not fix the problem but now my "TASKS" tab is gone and I use that everyday and have very important information on it. I can't find anywhere on where to open it. Please help!!!.

My menus suggest that F11 should toggle the "Today pane" on and off; that's a narrow pane at the right.
Via the old fashioned menu, it's View|Today Pane.
In the new Application Menu, it's 
|View|Today Pane
Once you have the Today pane open, you can rotate between Tasks, Events, or both Tasks and Events.
Or there is a full-screen view, ctrl+shift+d.
You could also add a Tasks button to the main Toolbar, via its customization option.
I don't use this pane or view myself, but I found these by looking at my menus. Can you not see either of the two menu systems?
