I'm not sure if it's a Firefox issue or a Facebook issue but...
When I click on a notification in FB, it no longer automatically just launches to the page?? It shows the url but I have to make it go to it by clicking the new link. This just started Sunday Dec. 18th.

Please explain in more detail. What notification? Where is it?

Here is what I discovered; the ad blocker was causing major issues when navigating within Facebook. I got rid of the blocker, problem solved.
