Firefox will not let me download anything nor will it let me save bookmarks on my mac
When I attempt to download a file or program firefox wont complete the action and in my download file it says "failed".

Hello there,
You will need to clear the download history as this method can fix some problems with downloading files:
1. Click the Downloads button, and then click "Show all downloads". The Downloads window will open. 2. In the Downloads window, click "Clear List". 3. Close the Downloads window.
Now relaunch Firefox and see if that solves the issue.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
