Thunderbird will not open. I have Windows 8.1, and use Verizon as my internet provider. I have tried to open Thunderbird using the shortcut icons, and I also went into Programs and tried to run Thunderrbird as an exe. What now?

This might be the one problem that reloading the program might fix. Download from getThunderbird.com and install over existing. Your mail and settings are in your profile so they should be OK.
