Firefox started crashing on both of my computers several days ago, around the 12 or 13th. The crashes are every few minutes to several an hour. I have been running Better Facebook add-on on both computers. I disabled Better Facebook add-on today on my laptop and so far so good, no crashes. I will see how it does tomorrow before I disable it on my desktop. There were no problems with it until the firefox 6.0.2. upgrade. I hope they can get it fixed because I really like the add-on.

Yes, this is ridiculous. I'd switch to Chrome for good if Chrome wasn't so lame.

I use the Better Face Book plugin as well, however I've had the latest Firefox crash repeatedly without any Facebook tabs open.

Well, facebook no longer allows the use of the better facebook add:on it seems. I was able to run it on chrome without any problems. But today, facebook removed it from my profile. From what I have been reading, facebook has been removing the better facebook add:on from a lot of people's facebook pages. It does not matter if you download it and install it. Facebook removes it from your profile..
