ff4 refuses to load/recognise virtual hosts

I've setup virtual hosts within windows 7 with Xampp 1.7.4. It work fine in Google Chrome 11 and IE8, but FF4 seemingly ignores my hosts file and trys to search the net for the virtual hostname.

FF3.6 never had this problem. Help?
