Firefox 56.0 64bit crashes at login page multiple websites
New install of Firefox 56.0 on Kunbuntu 16.04 new install. Firefox crashes repeatedly at login pages of multiple websites. Have tried suggested fixes of clearing history, cache, setting cookie policies, etc. Reverted to default settings as recommended but no improvement. Tried to revert to 55.0.3 but can not start browser after unzipping tar file. No "installer" included with package that I can determine. Prefer to revert to earlier version.

Hello, your issue is related to your graphical drivers. Can you try to update your nvidia drivers and tell us if it happens again?

smorele, yep, graphics driver issue with 16.04. I had tried multiple times to select the nVidia 340 driver on the GUI for driver management but the GUI failed at selecting the appropriate driver. As other issues with the system began to manifest(locked keyboard/mouse), I finally had to purge all nvidia drivers and install ASUS driver for this card. All problems resolved. Thank you for response.
