email received show a blank box with textthat appears to be a URL Link but no graphics why doesn't it open the link
MY emails show a blank box with text which appear to be a link to a URL but TB does not open the link. If I foward this email to a laptop it opens normally. \My operating system is Win 10, TB is 45.1.0

Christ1 Sorry that did not solve the problem. Initially I forwarded this email to my Laptop and it opened the link and showed the graphic . I compared all ??? of the settings that Thunderbird options showed for both my desktop and laptop but I couldn't identify any differences . I tried your suggested fix but it did not solve my problem. My laptop displays the graphic and that option in Privacy options is not checked. Is there an add on that might resolve this issue ?? Ron

I went to Tools, Options and Privacy. I checked the box to Allow Remote Content but this did not solve the problem. In my other computer (Toshiba Laptop) I can open the content of the email and the Privacy box is not checked so this likely is not the issue. Is it possible that my Thunderbird is corrupted ? Should I reinstall it ? Open to any suggested fixes.
