how to stop firefox from blocking my gmail account login page

Whenever, not every time but a lot of the time that I try to go to one of my gmail accounts I get blocked by the "untrusted connection'" sign that won't let me in. There aren't any options on it to click and change either. anybody else ever run into this? '
