Is it possible to show only my own search suggestions on the firefox/google homepage. Firefox versions from V33 now only show the Google search suggestions.

My homepage uses the firefox/google search bar. Originally (firefox V32) when I typed into the search bar a list of my own searches were displayed enabling me to autocomplete the search string. From V33 this functionality has changed to display the Google search suggestion list. Is it possible to reinstate my own search list as the Google search suggestions are useless to me.

HI czaz111, Please update to the latest version of Firefox, version 35. Update Firefox to the latest release

Then to turn the search suggestions on: Go to Options > Search and uncheck "provide search suggestions"

To turn off other stuff: Options > Privacy > Under Location bar, uncheck all the boxes.

Note that the about:home page uses autocomplete=off on the input form, so Firefox won't be saving search terms that you have typed.
