My husband and I share a PC. He set it up so that I can see my email when either of us are logged in. All was fine until today. Now, I can see all my emails when using his windows user account, but when I log into my windows account all emails disappear as soon as they are read. If I move a previously read email from to trash to the in box, it disappears immediately. Is there some setting that will correct this?

This is an issue with your e-mail provider. Firefox is just a browser that displays what the web sites send to it. First, check the settings on both e-mail accounts. It might be that the settings of one account is set up to delete read mail.
