I am a longtime Firefox user, have been using Firefox as my primary browser for more than 7 years. My problem is that after updating to version 68 and later, 1080p 60 fps videos in YouTube stopped playing properly. The audio works fine, but there are a lot of dropped frames. In fact almost all frames are dropped. I used to have Firefox 62.0.2, and then directly updated to version 68. Currently I run version 69. Please note that this problem does not occur with Firefox version 62.0.2 (I reinstalled it and checked the same). I noticed this problem only with 68 and later. Also, this problem does not occur in Chrome, or any other browser for that matter. Moreover, this problem is only with 1080p 60 fps, because 720p 60 fps or even 1080p 30 fps work just fine. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps mentioned in Mozilla Support articles, including clearing cache, disabling extensions, using safe mode, refreshing Firefox, reinstalling Firefox, using a new profile, and updating Firefox. None of the steps have worked. I ardently request someone from the Mozilla community to help me. This is the first major bug I've faced individually. If this is not fixed, I have to go back to an older version of Firefox till an update probably fixes this.

When I develop web apps, I want to see adding and removing CSS classes in real time, like Chrome devtools do.
I use tailwind CSS heavily (https://tailwindcss.com/) which relies on adding CSS classes to change appearance. The same applies to bootstrap 4 styles.
Chrome devtools autoloads the CSS classes from tailwind, and shows updates to the page as I type. To try this out:
1. go to https://tailwindcss.com/ in chrome/chromium 2. open devtools (f12) 3. switch to the "Elements" tab 4. use the element picker to select the "Get Started" button 5. in the right hand panel, select the ".cls" icon 6. in the box that says "Add new class", type "text-" 7. notice the dropdown and if you change the value (e.g. to text-blue-500) the page updates
In firefox devtools with the equivalent ".cls" feature:
- the classes do not auto-populate
- changes are not shown until the enter key is pressed.
For me personally this is the only feature I use chrome for. Firefox completely satisfies me for all other usage.
Is this something that can be implemented? I have reasonable software development skills so would be willing to assist with this change.

I showed my user name with the first and last letter and stars between, which was normal, so I started to type in my password, then stopped because the page looked different and there were lines of type above the blank areas I hadn't seen before. I called Nusenda and was told the page I described was not authentic. I deleted the shortcut block. I can find no way to notify Firefox of this possible hack.

Hello, I am inquiring how to setup text replacements in FireFox i.e. TY = Thank You It is the same exact tool on Mac OS Mojave in Preferences - Keyboard - Text I would like to setup some per-defined rules that automatically change my text as I type. For instance, when typing "TY" in Firefox, when I hit the space bar, I would like it to promptly change the "TY" to "Thank you" (without quotes).
This would help a lot with my productivity at work. I am not sure if there is a way to enable my text replacement shortcuts setup on my Mac to work in Firefox, or if there is some sort of Add-On that would achieve this.

I am having a problem where suddenly Firefox won't remember that I told it to run flash on a website. Removing that option is why I quit using Chrome when the great corporate beast decided for me that I shouldn't be able to conveniently use flash any more because they didn't like it.
