My email tags in Thunderbird 65.0b1 64bit suddenly lost all of the colors I had assigned and so did all of my previous emails!

If you go to Messages, Tags, the tags all appear to be black, but if you then select Manage Tags, they all have the proper colors (screen shots below). If I re-run my filters which assign the tags all of my previous emails remain black. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Thunderbird and I just did a clean reinstall of Windows 10 a couple of weeks ago.

I have been using Thunderbird exclusively since the late 90's and I've never experienced anything like this before. I had to switch to the 64bit beta finally because even after archiving most of my old messages, the 32bit version had slowed to a dead crawl and using filters was a joke, sometimes taking 30 minutes to refresh a window. I have to sort through a massive amount of email every day and colored tags help me get through it quickly...
