Where are my tabs?

To view your tabs in Firefox for Android, just swipe to the right and you'll see a sidebar containing a thumbnail for each tab. You can select any tab by tapping on it. When you're done, swipe to the left to bring the web page back in view.

How do I open a new tab?

  1. Swipe to the right to select the New Tab button located on the bottom, left side of the screen.
  2. You'll be taken to the Awesome Screen and a list of your most visited sites. You can type the name or address of the website you're looking for or just choose it from a list of your bookmarks, history and tabs.

How do I close and reopen tabs?

Swipe to the right to see a list of your tabs. Tap the red close button on a tab to close it.

If you close a tab by mistake, you can reopen the last closed tab by tapping the green restore button at the bottom, left side of the screen.

How do I open a link in a new tab?

  1. To open a link in a new tab, do a long-tap on the link to open the contextual menu.
  2. Tap Open Link in New Tab.
  3. You'll see a notification that a new tab was opened.

  4. To switch to your new tab, swipe to the right and tap on the new tab's thumbnail.

Come visualizzare le schede

Per visualizzare le schede attualmente aperte in Firefox per Android:

  1. Nell'angolo superiore destro (superiore sinistro sui tablet), toccare sull'icona che visualizza il numero delle schede attualmente aperte.

  2. Sarà a questo punto visualizzato in alto un elenco a discesa che contiene le immagini in miniatura delle schede stesse (sui tablet, tale elenco verrà visualizzato in alto se si sta utilizzando il dispositivo verticalmente, mentre sarà sulla sinistra se lo si tiene in orizzontale). Selezionare la scheda desiderata toccandola o annullare l'operazione toccando lo schermo in corrispondenza della scheda attualmente aperta.

  3. Per chiudere una scheda, fare clic sul pulsante X posto al lato della scheda.

"Passa alla scheda" utilizzando la ricerca

Toccare sulla barra del titolo e cominciare a digitare. Se il testo digitato presenta una corrispondenza con una delle schede aperte, verrà visualizzata l'opzione "Passa alla scheda" tra i suggerimenti di ricerca. Se si sceglie questa opzione si verrà portati alla scheda esistente evitando di aprire una nuova scheda.

  1. Toccare l'icona delle schede per aprire il pannello.

  2. Toccare + (il pulsante "più") nell'angolo superiore destro per aprire una nuova scheda.

  3. La nuova scheda visualizzerà la schermata di avvio e un elenco dei siti più visitati, dei segnalibri e della cronologia. Si può scegliere se partire da questi elementi oppure avviare una nuova ricerca o digitare un URL.
  1. Per aprire un link in una nuova scheda, toccare a lungo sul link per visualizzarne il menu contestuale.
  2. Dal menu constestuale, toccare su Apri in nuova scheda o Apri in scheda anonima (la seconda opzione consente di non salvare quella pagina nella cronologia).
  3. Per spostarsi alla nuova scheda, visualizzare le schede e toccare sulla miniatura della scheda.

Schede anonime

Utilizzare la modalità di Navigazione anonima per evitare di salvare la cronologia di navigazione e di ricerca. Toccare l'icona delle schede in alto e successivamente toccare l'icona che rappresenta una maschera.

Da qui, è possibile visualizzare l'elenco delle schede aperte in modalità anonima o aprire una nuova scheda anonima toccando l'icona private plus.

Condividere le schede

Firefox Sync consente di condividere le schede con altri dispositivi.

If you have tabs open on another device, you can access them on your Android device by tapping the number at the top of your screen, and then tapping the Sync icon.

Send a tab from your Android device

If you have a tab open on your Android device, you can use the Send Tab to Devices feature to open that tab on another computer:

  1. Tap the menu button android menu on the top right corner of the screen, and then the share button android share.
  2. Choose Send Tab to Devices on the drop down menu.
  3. Select the devices you want to share the tab with, and then tap Send.

  4. The tab will load on your other device after it syncs (usually within a minute). If you've sent the tab to a desktop or laptop computer and want the tab to load sooner, go to the Tools menu and choose Sync Now.

How do I close tabs?

View your tab list and tap X next to the tab you want to close.
