Hello, when I am on Firefox I am unable to play audio from websites such as Reddit,Twitter and other sites but I am able to do so in youtube. This does not happen to me in other browsers such as brave/edge. Things I have tried are refreshing firefox, turning off extensions, installing windows media pack, trying a different sound device, adjusting sound mixer, allowing autoplay, update drivers. This started happening after I did a clean install of windows. Any help would be appreciated.

For a few weeks now I have been tracking down a problem with my Firefox. After using it for lets say an hour suddenly all website refuse to load ending with connection timed out message. Internet is definitely working other browsers and apps work just fine. When I close the FF and reopen it the behavior persists. Even when launching it in Troubleshooting mode the issue is the same. The only way I can get the browser working normally again is by restarting the pc (win10). This issue reappeared multiple times now almost every single day. Unfortunately I do not know how to replicate it at all because to me it appears quite random when its going to stop working. When looking at the console NetworkError: Network request failed shows up when website gives up loading. Besides other things indicating no internet connection. Any suggestion ideas how to track down what is happening when this issue pops up again?

'thunderbird' Windows 10 has been locking shortly after powerup. Simultaneously instead of updating my email, Thunderbird has been pulling down the entire mail server file. How best to recover?

Unable to watch on YT ESL spirit v EF CS2 as memory usage constantly going up until pc almost locks up. Had this issue a few weeks back and it was the chat however now disabling chat makes no difference.

Nm tried disabling Ublock origin and it's fixed, left this there as it might be useful to you guys

In the past week or so I have noticed that some emails disappear from one inbox on my Windows 10 PC. I have three Thunderbird accounts (call them A, B, and C), and the emails only disappear from box A. It seems completely random, and furthermore they only disappear on my own PC. My husband has an identical set-up on his Windows 10 PC, which also includes the boxes A, B, and C, and the messages do NOT disappear there. I can also see them on my iPhone and two iPads, and they do not disappear from those. I have tried forwarding them to myself from my phone, and while most of them did show up in the A inbox on my PC, I have noticed that some of them have now disappeared again.

This is incredibly frustrating, because I do most of my work at my PC. I thought I needed an update, but TB says I am up to date (128.8.0esr (32-bit)). It can't be anything to do with the server, because it is so specific: one inbox on one PC only. There doesn't seem to be any special pattern--some have attachments, some don't.

I have a problem with Firefox - Windows 11.

I can open only 2 Tabs in Firefox, the next Tabs 3 or 4 don't start, because there is a crashreport.

the new update is causing havoc. it keeps crashing pages which in turn is crashing my computer. i will have to resort to using chrome until it is fixed because i can't do anything.

Please assist or advise why Firefox seems to be slowing down my system by memory usage. I have a handful (6) of tabs open on 1 browser session and my system started slowing down so I checked my task manager and it shows that I have more than a dozen of Firefox instances open chewing up almost 90% of my memory.

Please assist or advise me on how to tweak my browser to perform better, and not to show ghost instances

Dear support team, I've the following issue with calendars in Thunderbird. Was on latest ESR version, an upgrade to latest version 136.0.1 (64 bit) didn't fix it: When I started Thunderbird, suddenly most of my calendars where no longer visible. I figured out by trying to add a new calendar it only (re-)appeared when "offline mode" (caching) was disabled. After changing the setting calendar.registry.[id].cache.enabled to "false" the calendars showed up again.

Could it be some kind of bug or could the calendar storage be corrupt? How can I fix it?

Hi. The "Thought-Provoking Stories" are not loading on my Firefox home page. The heading is there, and it looks like Firefox is trying to load them, but they stay blurry. Anything I can do? I'm in Canada if that makes a difference.

Please help me. Firefox disappears when I open a second app on top of it (i.e. MS Word or Mac Mail). Full screen is not selected. If I put Firefox in split screen (which is not what I want), there is no option to open a second app in other half of screen.

I'm using MacOS Ventura 13.7.4

I generally resist updates unless they actually promise to fix a problem I'm having or have new features I desire.

But your latest update popped up promising that my original version would stop working on March 14 so I figured I'd better this time. (There's something disturbingly totalitarian about the whole internet security regime but I guess that's a subject for another day.

Now google.com loads and nothing else, not even Firefox.com. (I had to access using an old, old, old version under Windows 7 on a laptop to get here.)

The only suggestion I got from the help files has to do with my firewall and security settings but I don't have a firewall or any other security except whatever is built in to Firefox.

What next?

(Sorry, the shared data won't help, coming from a different machine. I wasn't thinking when I hit it.)
