Hi, I have Firefox for Android running on my Samsung Galaxy S23 and the windows version on my PC. Both are logged in to the same Firefox account and are syncing fine. On my PC, the password manager is working as expected and autofilling website passwords.

However, on my phone, I can't seem to get the autofill to work. I have been needing to go into the password manager and copy the password every time. It will ask to save the password and the password manager has everything stored as expected. Tried various things like logging in and logging out but nothing has fixed it. I did notice that Samsung Pass often pops up during the website login process and was wondering if this could be the reason Firefox password manager is not working for autofill.

Someone has been monitoring my behavior on Samsung Galaxy A14, listening to my phone calls, closing apps while I'm using them, hanging up the phone while I'm talking to someone. Is there a Mozilla remedy for it?

Stop keyboard and QR scan from appearing when app opened. If I want keyboard then I will tap search. I have pinned sites and bookmarks I use first and usually don't use search. Using search less with all the tracking and always wrong AI assumptions. Keyboard doesn't disappear when search is tapped. Doesn't disappear when screen is tapped. Obscures results. Been a problem for years.

I have notice that firefox android v136.0.1 consume more battery than the onther famous browser (edge, chrome, bhave) in android 14. I request to make firefox android battery efficient.

I have thousands of bookmarks. What the hell is wrong with allowing sorting by

(1) date create, (2) date changed (3) AND by name?

I always sort by name. File folders, bookmarks.

By creation date on pixtures.

This is a no brainer. Your bookmarks are not usable. Especially if i dont recall the name. The synced folder names get me to the right subject, scanning the folder contents reviels the targetted link.

Common children, do it right or dont do it.

I am using Fennec from F-Droid (build 1340020). I noticed that many Brahmic scripts on webpages are shown as boxes. I don't recall seeing this in early versions maybe years ago.

Notably all major scripts in India like Devanagari, Tamil, Telugu can not be rendered. However, Odia and Sinhala scripts are shown fine. Outside India, Tibetan script cannot be rendered either. However, SEA scripts like Thai, Burmese are fine.

Moreover, if I copy these boxes to the search bar, the actual content can be shown. The tab view can also show the title of the webpage correctly in Bramic scripts. And if I change the locale in the settings, the UI of Fennec app can also properly display the scripts.

To further debug, I went to the about:config and search for fonts. Unlike western or CJK scripts, the value of font.default of Bramic scripts is serif rather than san-serif. The default value of font.name-list of these Bramic scripts are just Noto Sans or Noto Serif. I tried to switch between serif and san-serif but got no luck.

I was wondering how to fix this issue. Thanks!

My default search engine is startpage, but I have to type something in and have the search fail, then it takes me to the startpage home so that I can actually search.
