I'm opted in to studies, but unable to toggle the switch to opt-out because it is "grayed out" (screenshot attached).

Cannot find any studies-related solution in existing community Q&A except for one that says to toggle the switch to opt out, which isn't an option for me.

During the configuration of my iPad, I noticed that there is no option to add a custom query URL, like it exists under Android. Therefore, after adding the custom search engine (and when it's chosen) the search suggestions are missing. While I know that there are technical limitations regarding Firefox on IOS/IPadOS, I don't think/hope that this is one of them.

Need to download Firefox for iOs 12 (specifically 12.5.7 on an iPad Air). I saw advice that gave a download page on a Mozilla site but the address given did not work. The iPad is not able to accept a newer iOs. Is there still such a download somewhere?

In addition to the hack concerns. I was curious if and where, I can see a list of devices that I am signed in

I was searching on Firefox and encountered a pop up “your iPhone has been hacked” and an ‘OK’, which you are encouraged to use based on immediate attention being required.

This pop up has frozen my app and I cannot close this tab nor can I access any other tabs I have in use. Troubleshooting tried- closed the app several times and also turned my iPhone off and back on and get the same result. I cleared my website search history and use the following security’s settings: Prevent cross tracking, Hide IP address: (from) trackers and websites, Fraudulent Website Warning, Not Secure Connection Warning. I am using the iPhone 14 Pro Max and am running on the most current iOS: 18.5. These settings are for Safari.

Has anyone experienced this situation and know how to close the hacker message tab and what else one might need/want to do in response to this pop up?

Is there a setting for New browser tabs or initial App launch? I know how to adjust zoom per tab that is loaded, but when I “open“ a new tab it’s always 100%. I prefer to see more content, thus a lower zoom such as 90% or 75%, which I can always adjust after the fact.

I travel a lot and frequently use web services not in my native English. Safari does a great job of translating to English, but is often glitchy for other functions. So I use Firefox. But it doesn’t have the translate option!

The Firefox browser I was using failed to back up the synchronization data of the domestic version due to negligence in reinstalling the new version. Starting from May 24th, after logging into the domestic version account, data synchronization cannot be achieved. (Currently, all downloads automatically redirect to the international version, and the login account is also the international version account. However, the domestic version data was not backed up before, and it is necessary to log in to the domestic version again to back up the data.) . Is there any expert who can offer a solution? I am trying to add Brave as the search engine on the Firefox settings in iOS, however, I continue to receive an error message stating “Please fill all fields correctly” I am using the below URL:

And

search.brave.com or https://search.brave.com

But none are working and I continue to get the same error message

Hi I’ve been a dedicated Firefox user since as long as I can remember across all my devices. Since buying an iPad Pro and setting up with Firefox, as I have on all my devices, on the iPad Firefox performance is really poor. Websites often freeze and downloading pdfs from websites or from SharePoint etc. often does not work. An empty file will be saved. When switching to another browser I don’t experience these problems and I have no other software problems on the iPad. Running Firefox 139.1 on iPadOS 18.5 on a 13” iPad Pro M4 (MVX33HC/A)

The problem began when I was browsing Google maps through Firefox, it gave the prompt to view it through the Google maps app instead. Google maps needed an update, I was on low data mode, I got impatient and canceled that update, then somehow Firefox wasn't allowing me to finish a sentence in the search bar afterwards. Now it doesn't let me open new tabs, exit out of already open tabs, or access the browser settings without freezing for 3 seconds and going to the home screen.

I've updated Firefox to version 139.2, I've searched for some crash log information for iPhone 11 and didn't understand it too well (one suggested to search from Privacy and Security->Analytics and Improvements->Analytics data and to search for "client" but got nothing). I couldn't figure out what more to do with the app from my home screen or settings, I turned my phone off and on yesterday yet it still happened. Any advice would be appreciated, I'm not experienced with technical things and don't want to risk having my bookmarks or passwords be erased in any way.

IOS version is 18.4.1 if that helps.
