plz guys help me my eyes hurt so bad because of this

every time i open firefox for pc, a white flash appears very quickly

i tried every thing ai told me to, but still

i cant even record it it doesnt appear in video

Several days ago a trio of "warnings" all labeled Mozilla Firefox popped up on my monitor. They included "Critical Error! Remove viruses now", "Warning! Virus Detected Clean Your Device" (with the choice of Renew Now {? renew what?} or Update Windows), "Warning! Your system is damaged by virus attack via d9BvqdcBn2sc73dc4btg.korvapod.co.in Remove the virus now", "Trojan Detected! (choose Remove virus now or Quick Scan), and variations on all of the above. I ran a malware scan from another provider and their advice was that this was an attempted hack so under no circumstances should I click on anything. They definitely said it wasn't from Mozilla Firefox. BUT they also couldn't find any traces anywhere in my computer. So for the past 5 days, I've been functioning with a partial screen, maybe 3/5 of full screen, because those darned "warnings" cannot be physically moved off the screen. How can I get rid of this mess? Thanks.

I was testing a new website for a developer. I wanted to see if DNS worked correctly on various browsers. I downloaded Firefox and the test was OK. However, something happened with Yahoo and Facebook, apparently those sites think I am on another device. Where I have to log in, something with second level authentication was off, after several attempts I am now locked out. I suspect a Firefox setting is the problem. Suggestions on how to reset firefox?

I am watching a movie and would like to use Picture-in-Picture mode so I can continue watching while working, thanks to its floating window feature. However, I can no longer use it.

I have already tried clicking the Picture-in-Picture icon on the video, using the Ctrl + Shift + ] shortcut, and verifying that the feature is enabled under Settings > Tabs and Browsing > Media. Unfortunately, none of these methods worked.

I would appreciate it if you could help me resolve this issue as soon as possible. Aside from its extension support, Picture-in-Picture is one of the main reasons I chose Mozilla Firefox.

I rely on Firefox entirely for my business. I'm really concerned that Firefox is become choked up - it is really slow to load pages. Am desperate to get it cleaned up ('serviced' so to speak) but am finding it difficult to get simple instructions to do this myself. Where can I get expert help?

I am unable to view old payment methods in order to delete them. When I go to Settings, Passwords and Autofill, Payment Methods, Manage Payment Methods, I can only add new methods. The old methods do not show up, i.e. the list is blank. I have many old payment methods that I'd like to delete that show up in drop-down when I click in a credit card number field. I have been trying to trouble shoot, checking my volume settings, disabling ad blocker, etc, but nothing is helping.

I tested the URL in TOR and Chrome browsers which I installed on my laptop, the audio works AOK on those.

FF has been my browser of choice since it was launched, so I'd really appreciate if someone can suggest what the Audio issue might be.

Hello I have lost my ability to access my gmail account(canadettes@gmail.com) immediately after somehow I now have to deal with Outlook!!!

I utilize a website called Twinspires for wagering on horses. It has a video popup (no sidebar tabs) that one can engage to watch the race outside of the Firefox browser. I quite like this feature. That said, I keep quite sidebar tabs saved as I use that feature to pin and then revisit websites that I want to spend more time on. Problem: If the browser closes on its own or other issue, it doesn't close the video popup. So when I restart the browser it "thinks" that video popup, with no saved sidebar tabs, was the last browser open so I lose all my saved sidebar tabs. If everything Firefox would close when the browser does, one could restore all tabs under history like one would normally do. Is there a setting so everything Firefox that is open closes when the browser does? Thank you.

I've been using the extension "Tree Style Tab" and "TST Colored Tabs." I've been looking for a way to disable the native Firefox tab bar, whether on top of the window or to the left side. I haven't been successful on my own.

Opening that profile folder shows an empty directory. The only other real profile on disk is: agwp164m.default-release

We successfully proved userChrome.css loads in a different test profile (Profile 1) because the toolbar turned red. Therefore, the CSS mechanism itself works on your machine.

My conclusion is that your Firefox profile registration has become inconsistent. Firefox appears to be using a profile that does not correspond cleanly to the profile folders you're seeing in Explorer. At this point I would:

Back up the entire folder: (NOTE: DONE - backed to to another drive) C:\Users\dmerc\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox

Keep using the profile that contains your extensions and recent history. Avoid deleting any profiles or profile folders.

Post the details you've collected to either: the Mozilla Support forum, or r/firefox

The good news is that your current extensions and recent history are still accessible, so this doesn't look like data loss. The profile mapping itself needs to be untangled before custom CSS can reliably be applied.

I have had access to TastyTrade thru FireFox for years. Within the last two days I am unable to log on. When I click on the link the screen goes all white and the page will not open. When using Edge I am able to get logged in but not thru FireFox which is my preferred browser.

saved payment method still work and autofill when a payment page is up but managing all saved payments within settings is impossible as the list is not populated - please see screenshot link text

I have five old expired CC's that pop up every time for auto fill. However, when I follow the link, to Manage Payment Methods. It is completely empty. There's nothing to manage. How do I delete all the old stuff when there's nothing were it should be? Please see attached.
