If a page is maximized I can not move it - I have to click on the 'intermediate' of the three choices (minimize, intermediate, maximize) before I can move it or resize it.

I have three monitors. It's the same behavior on all three.

I have a profile that causes odd behavior, within the profile, and to the OS.

Regarding the profile itself:

1. I use Multiple Tab Handler, which should allow me to move tabs on the tab bar with the mouse, but it does not (see image of proper behavior)

2. Normally, i can drag this padlock button to the desktop to create a shortcut. but now, it will not move/drag (see image 2)

3. I also have a backup profile from several months ago that has none of the above symptoms. However, If I substitute it's sessionstore.jsonlz4 file with the the one from the problematic profile, all the bad behavior mentioned above re-emerges.

I know this sounds strange, but, I also get external display issues when using the broken profile. These events are random, and manifest themselves differently, so I can't duplicate them. Essentially, these snips are examples of images from the taskbar tabs, or the clock area, suddenly superimposing themselves on the top portions of the taskbar toolbar area.

This is the view of my clock area (see next image 3)

In the following image, imagine that the portion on the left, that opens the start menu, is now hidden under what looks exactly like the clock area on the right, superimposed over it (see next image 4)

Those aberrations are removed by simply moving the mouse cursor over them, but they will continue to occur in any number of variations over any area of that top toolbar.

Is there a Session Manager that will save the session, to be later restored into that previous profile, but not also pass along the corruption?

Currently, when we encounter a PDF file on the web, Firefox only allows us to view or download it as a PDF. It would be incredibly beneficial if, when a user clicks on a PDF link (or during the download prompt), there was an option to choose whether to download the file as a PDF or as a JPG image.

This functionality would save users a considerable amount of time and effort by eliminating the need to use third-party online converters or desktop software to transform PDFs into JPGs. This is particularly useful for extracting images or specific pages from documents for quick sharing, presentations, or website use.

For the last day or so, Firefox is refusing to resolve any web pages. I have had to write this in Safari, so I can't share the data from Firefox. Sorry.

2017 iMac, OS 13.6.9, Firefox 140.0.4

I am on a Mac desktop. I’m using my desktop as a regular download folder (browser.download.dir = /Users/username/Desktop). BUT the screenshot tool (which is great) always stores the file in (/Users/username/Downlods). Thats boring.

Every time I close a window in firefox while I am connected to ChatGPT I get logged out. It does not save my password. I have to sign in all over again. How can I stay signed in the ChatGPT_

Tnx, Larry Yesterday I got a full page notice that told me my access to Firefox will be shut down because my Defender detected that I had stepped in some SHXT while visiting something in Firefox. They gave me a phone number of Microsoft something to call to fix it. I did not call because it seemed like malware, I guess it wasn't because soon after Firefox would not load. I will get this when I try: Says: cannot find server v3lpea6ndyxwl4.azureedge.net , I have run Malwarebytes and Defender and rebooted. Any ideas?

Since a recent update, whenever I try to go to ufc.om, Firefox shows me the error in the attached image. It used to display ufc.com without issues before the update [ don't remember which update ].

Other browsers [ Chrome and Edge ] display ufc.com without issues.

I downloaded the browser from the official website, but I can't log in. the usual login tab did not appear. I didn't find the authorization menu in the menu either. I downloaded and reinstalled it again, but it didn't help. how to solve this problem? thank you in advance

Logged into my Firefox account and after restarting the browser my tabs and browser history are gone. Every file in "sessionstore-backups" is also deleted and now only has two newly created recovery files. Why did Firefox delete my desktop browser session after logging in? Can I somehow recover my old session or maybe at least my browser history?

My Firefox account was initially set up through https://accounts.firefox.com.cn. With the new Firefox version, this login method no longer works, causing me to lose access to all my bookmarks. At login some websites don't accept the username saved in Firefox (because they also don't accept typed in usernames). They require to select the username from a drop down list. (In my case it's a specific government portal with limited users, which are all in the drop down list). When I type in my username it will appear in the drop down list (which is actually only one field tall by then). But it is covered by Firefox's saved login button (which also pops up at the same spot). So I can't access the drop down list. Is there any way I can avoid the saved login suggestion from popping up?

I find myself in an unfortunate situation; my computer was remotely accessed without my permission, my email and data compromised, identity stolen and more. While I have been working on that, and reporting such things to the appropriate companies and authorities, I am left in one of many unfortunate situations. My Firefox account was signed in, thus leaving passwords in the manager compromised, as visible as if it were someone sitting at my computer with it unlocked. I am working to change those passwords, documenting them offline, but I am worried to sign into my Mozilla account on a desktop computer, in the event that any malicious add-ons or extensions were installed. 1. Does being signed in to the mobile Mozilla leave me at risk of Spyware if any such add-ons or extensions were installed to the desktop client? 2. With the add-on and extension auto-sync that happens with signing into a Firefox account, I am worried that even if I buy a new computer, modem and router, that signing into the Firefox account could risk compromising the new computer and network. Can these add-ons and extensions be removed or unlinked from the account in any way without signing in on a desktop/laptop?
