The image search icon and text clear cross do not work in Firefox on particular account on the All tab. It was checked on different devices. If use a different Google account, everything works fine. The problem is only with this specific account. What should i do?

Hi everyone, I have a problem on my PC with firefox. I don't have this problem on chrome. When i go to google maps on my PC, my default location is set to Dublin instead of Amiens (France) Could you help me to have my correct default location back ? Thank you

My shortcuts disappeared. They were there this morning. I let my laptop go into standby and, when I woke it up again, the shortcuts were gone.

I have checked my settings and the correct toggles have been toggled. This happened not too long ago and they came back, so I'm not at all sure what the issue is.

When I go to a meeting on meet.google.com, Google Meet says "Camera is starting". My camera light flashes and then stays on. However, Google Meet is unable to connect to the camera.

Upon closing the tab, the camera light stays on and the camera is unresponsive to all apps. The camera must be unplugged and plugged back in to work again.

The issue does not exist when I go to webcammictest.com in Firefox or in other desktop apps. The camera works correctly on meet.google.com when I use Chrome.

I have tried removing camera and microphone permissions to meet.google.com and re-granting them. I have tried deleting all meet.google.com cookies and storage.

i need to change my email since my old email go hacked, so i dont have access to my old email anymore. i still have access to my account since i am logged in on my phone and desktop. I have backup authentication codes if that helps. Codes are getting sent to my hacked email which i dont have access to.

I routinely keep a tab open to view my iCloud account (PC running Windows 11 Home).

Everything has worked just fine in the past. Here are the basics using Edge... -The home page displays like the first attachment. -Clicking an icon takes me to the calendar page (see the Edge screenshot in the second attachment) -Clicking the word, 'iCloud' (see yellow arrow in second attachment) returns me to the home page.

But now, using Firefox, if I click the calendar icon (or any other) the calendar return link and Calendar page title are superimposed over one another and the return link does not work. -Check out the yellow arrow in the third attachment -If I click the iCloud/Calendar mishmash I get nothing. If I click left arrow or Back I get nothing.

Note that this still works fine with Edge but does not work with Firefox. Have tried clearing Firefox cache (no change) but don't know what else to try.

Any ideas?

Now the latest update solves the problem of autoplay on YouTube can something be done about viewing the whole site? Videos take forever to load or generally never load and when they do all it shows on the page is the video and nothing else.

I go to my YT history and the page will not load. YT at times says I am offline when in fact I am not because I am also at the same time,while waiting for YT to load, viewing articles and videos on Yahoo and MSN as well as other sites.

This has only started today, March 12th.

I’m running into a frustrating issue where Firefox is opening PDFs in two places at once.

The Problem: When I click a PDF link, Firefox opens the file in a new tab (internal viewer) but also launches the standalone Adobe Acrobat app to display the same file. I only want it to open in Firefox.

Details: - Settings: My "Applications" setting for PDF is currently set to "Always Ask." - The Glitch: Even when I manually select "Open in Firefox" from the prompt, Adobe Acrobat launches anyway. - Timeline: This started happening 2 days ago without any manual setting changes (I think it might be after a firefox update? I might be mistaken)

- Troubleshooting done: I have tried toggling the action to "Open in Firefox" directly, but the dual-launch behavior persists.

Tab groups work well with the standard tab bar, but when changing to vertical tabs, there is no clear way to expand the menu (aka hit the 'V' at the right of the tab bar for horizontal tabs) to see the tab group.

The only fix i found was to turn off vertical tabs, open the tab group, then turn on vertical tabs again.

A user I am servicing uses Firefox every day. They are on Windows 11. Every afternoon (sometimes at other times), Firefox stops working and loses its internet connection (everything else on their computer continues to be connected).  When they close and restart Firefox to reconnect, it then tells me the user that they are using an old profile and need to create a new one.  They're able to re-log into their Firefox account, which eventually resyncs all their data, but they then have to re-sign into everything, which is a major inconvenience.  The only workaround the I have found is to reinstall Firefox, ever time this happens which then allows the user to use all their settings until they have to repeat the process the next day (i.e., everything remains signed in and/or logging back in is easier than described above).

Thank you for the help! I'm wondering if other AI chatbots, Lumo, in particular, will continue to be added as options to the updated sidebar? An unofficial extension exists (https://codeberg.org/daskashk/lumo_ai_by_proton_chat_in_sidebar) that adds the ability for a link to appear in the sidebar. However, it does not offer the full integration that the official browser update provides to the other supported LLMs. I like Lumo for its privacy, encryption, and the ability to make "Projects." when I clicked on firefox icon today, bing browser appeared and I was not able to use firefox until I downloaded firefox again. I would like to restore the firefox I was using, I had several windows open and my passwords stored there. please advise

I am currently trying to set up automatic backups to a local network folder. I have set browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML and browser.bookmarks.file via the about:config page. This creates the backup on X:\bookmarks.html as desired, but only this one backup. Is there another way to create the backups with a timestamp and to keep to the maximum number via browser.bookmarks.max_backups?

I have checked that javascript is enabled and I do not have Ghostery or NoScript plugins. Interesting, the "support article" was hyperlinked and I could not access that either. (https://ds.tl/help-third-party-plugins, and the message is"server not found") I have rung Qsuper who advise me that there website is fine. Please advise any strategies. Many thanks in anticipation.

For the past 15-16 days, Firefox has been consuming extremely high memory.

The problem: - When Firefox first opens, it starts normally at around 300-400 MB - But after using it for about 1 hour, a single Firefox window grows to 1-2 GB of RAM - This keeps increasing the longer I use it (memory leak behavior) - Currently Firefox (41 processes) is using over 5,131 MB total memory on my system it's normal but after 1 hour a single firefox window grows to 1-2 GB of RAM

What I have tried: - The issue happens consistently every day for the past 15-16 days - Other browsers like Chrome and Chromium use much less memory in comparison

System info: - OS: Windows 11 - Firefox version: latest version 148.0.0.0

Please help me fix this memory leak issue. It is making my system very slow.
