Every since I updated my MacBook Pro M1 Max chip to Firefox 142.0.1 (aarch64), Firefox locks up & has to be "Force Quit" & restarted almost every day. Please update the app ASAP so I don't have to convert to Google Chrome. Thank you!

Hi, I've been using the latest Firefox version on 2 MacBook Pros, and the bookmark favicons are lost when syncing to other devices. They remain on the host device, but are not transferred to the synced device. This is my first attempt at syncing anything in Firefox, so I don’t have any previous settings/files that could be interfering.

Also, “Tabs from other devices” in the Firefox View window lists all of the tabs grouped together, and there are hundreds in the list. How can they be grouped by window (the same way that they appear in the browser), and is there a way to have them sync directly in the windows (w/ fwd/back history in tact) so that each browser appears identically when switching from one device to another?

I have been on Mozilla for 10 plus years. So now your asking and treating me like a new customer. I just want to get on and conduct my business.. So I can't do that, so I guess it's time to move on.

Every time I login on my computer, there is already an open Firefox webpage with a dialog box asking me if I want Firefox to be my primary default browser. Once I click "Set a Default Browse", a Microsoft Edge webpage appears giving me a list of choices of Microsoft application to select to be my browser. Firefox is not on the list. There is also a dialog box that appears on the lower right corner of the screen showing me the steps on how to make Firefox my default browser. The choices are "Show Me How" and "No Thanks". When I click the "Show me how", I am taken to Firefox setting, once I click the "Make Default" I am taken back to the list of Microsoft applications to choose as my browser. The bottom line is I cannot make Firefox my default browser anymore. In fact, I am not even sure if I am sending this message to Firefox or Mozilla. Would you please check and correct the problem. I cannot make Firefox my default browser. Would you check if Firefox is my default browser.

I've gone through the various troubleshooting options over the last month or so and Firefox is still crashing constantly for me, even in Troubleshooting mode. The tabs crash when I'm using a Google Doc, YouTube, Discord, doesn't matter the site; I've submitted about 20 crash reports this morning alone and failed to submit several more:

My home page is Fox News and Firefox current version is slow opening videos everywhere, but especially on Fox. Any ideas? They open quicker on other browsers but I like Firefox!!!

Hi there, When I turned my laptop on this morning everything from my browsing history and pinned tabs to my bookmarks and passwords was just...poof...gone. I feel like someone stole my first born. Not sure if I'm just in a panic and not remembering how to fix this easily but regardless, please can someone help me:'(

Firefox claims does NOT save site/URL visit information while in Private Mode. And I thought that was true. However, I just discovered that Firefox DOES SAVE Private Mode URL/Site visits - in this specific place. I don't know how long the history will be saved - it looks like at least as long as the Window is open. I want to keep most of my open Private Tabs open - but want to Delete/Clear the ones I'm done with. I thought/understood that Private window/tab/visit info was not tracked/saved - and it's not saved in History, or Searchable. But it appears that this doesn't apply to the Recently Closed Tabs MenuItem. And there seems to be NO 'delete' or 'clear' option for this field. I can't find any reference to the subject in the Forum or Articles. The picture I've attached is NOT of the Recently Closed Tabs while in Private Browsing, but is the same MenuItem and field contents. Thanks for your interest. I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to delete/clear this specific history.

Verified Firefox is rejecting 100% of all websites last few days and will not accept any Trust Certificates from Windows. Please correct and configure Firefox to Trust Windows Certificate store. Also is Firefox Mozilla using Windows DNS Servers , for security purposes ? Thank you Paul

I'm on Firefox for Mac desktop and I'm finding it difficult to move bookmarks from the Toolbar menu to Other Bookmarks. I see that I can cut and paste, but I assumed I could drag and drop as I can in other browsers. Does drag-and-drop just not work for moving bookmarks in Firefox?

For a while now firefox has been unable to enter fullscreen when pressing F11. Instead all it does is move the "Scroll forwards", "Open a new tab", and "List all tabs" button over slightly (The buttons on the top right, next to the minimize and close buttons).

I don't know what's going on with firefox.

General / Startup / Open previous windows and tabs is set off; nonetheless it opens them.

This is on 142.1.0 64 bit Windows.

How can we turn it OFF?

.: Hello. A couple of days ago Firefox stopped displaying thumbnails of YouTube videos. I tried YouTube on other browsers and the thumbnails appeared as usual. On Firefox, they've disappeared, but only on my Windows 10 computer. The YouTube thumbnails appear on Firefox on my MacBook. The attached graphic shows what it looks like on my Win 10 computer.

Any ideas on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. I have also searched the Internet and YouTube for a solution, but was unable to find one that works.

When I swipe to the left, Firefox navigates Back & when I swipe to the right, Firefox navigates Forwards. It is VERY ANNOYING!!!! It's really easy to do this accidentally while scrolling around a large web page. When you go back, it deletes all data that was filled out on the web form causing DOUBLE the work. How do I turn it off please? Win 10, FF 142.0.1 64-Bit

At the beginning of 2025, I created a private theme and installed it locally (Windows 10), consisting of a manifest.json and a GIF file. It worked perfectly. Now, on Windows 11, I'm trying to use the theme again, but when I upload the file (.zip or .xpi — via about:addons -> Install Add-on From File), I always get the message that the file is corrupted. However, if I test it temporarily under about:debugging, it works immediately without any issues.

I would really appreciate a solution! <3
