How do I revert back to the previous version of Firefox. I have tried to "Manage bookmarks" to get all my bookmarks to show correctly, however there is nothing I can find that tells me how to do it, and there is nothing intuitive about this new version.

Can anyone try to access Richard Sounds website and get it resolved properly? It works fine on Google, no idea why it doesn't in Firefox. Regards,

Every time Firefox (on Windows desktop) updates it loses all passwords. I am able to recover them by syncing from my Firefox Android. Surely, there is a better solution than that. Is there a way to protect the passwords in a file or is there a Firefox setting that needs to be changed?

Subject: Help recovering old Firefox Sync data using my Recovery Key

Hello Mozilla Support,

I’m trying to recover my old Firefox Sync data, especially my bookmarks and saved passwords.

I still have an Account Recovery Key that I saved on August 27, 2025. However, after signing in to my Mozilla account today, my account page shows “Account recovery key: Not set”, and syncing does not restore my old bookmarks or passwords.

I may have reset or changed my Mozilla account password today without using the old Recovery Key during the process.

Could you please confirm:

Is there any way to use my old Recovery Key now to recover the previously encrypted Firefox Sync data? Is the old Sync data still retained on Mozilla’s servers in any recoverable form? Is there any other recovery procedure available for bookmarks, passwords, or previous Sync data?

I still have access to the same Mozilla account and the original Recovery Key file. I will not send the Recovery Key itself unless there is an official secure procedure that requires it.

I'm stuck in a loop with trying to enable VPN. Initial click on the vpn icon in the top right gives me a popup with a "Get Started" button. I clicked that and went through the authentication process (logged into my mozilla account). I then got the popup with the "Next: Turn on VPN" message. However I click on the top right icon again (as indicated in the popup) but I'm back to the icon with the "Get Started" button - then round again...

OK - this keep happening on my firefox browser on my macbook laptop. I have a default firefox browser open with my 13 default tabs. Now when I have some app, like today specifically, the app for my voice caddy golf app. I open the app, do the update, and if I select any link that opens the voice caddy website, it opens it in a new firefox browser and tab, NOT a tab in my existing firefox with my 13 default tabs. So my default firefox gets trashed. In my firefox settings, I told firefox to open any new tabs in tabs, NOT pages. I also have open the last tabs open where I left off when I close firefox. What a pain. Tried several things to no avail. Why doesn't firefox have a setting (or the current setting do as I told it - open new websites in a new TAB, NOT a new browser.

Whenever I make a video fullscreen like on youtube, then press Ctrl + N for new window, the new window appears without the windows taskbar. This happened after the last update. So, now there's a gap at the bottom where the taskbar should be, exposing the bottom portion of the video underneath .

Today's update to Fx re-established the link between 'import' and my .json backup files of my extensive, organized bookmarks.

Sorry to add to 'questions', but once signed in, I could not re-locate the 'thread' of my exchanges with JBR.

when I click on a news article it takes me to a paywall instead of just presenting the article an example is USA Today. I don't want to join USA, I just want to read what interests me. Microsoft news does not do that.

I'm not sure how long this has been happening (maybe at least a month), but my browsing history isn't syncing properly between my desktop and phone. Previously, my desktop history was syncing to my phone, but not vice-versa. Bookmarks, passwords and tabs are syncing perfectly fine. I've tried enabling/disabling sync settings and signing out and in again and now my phone history is syncing to my desktop, but my desktop history has stopped syncing to my phone. While having the full browsing history on my desktop is preferable, it would be ideal for it to show up on both my desktop and phone.

i have said many times that i keep getting Firefox running but not responding . i have contacted many places and complained had some of your r tech try and help now with the new update i am still getting it yet i was told it would be fixed. i have reinstalled i have removed and shut off some add ons cleared cache all but cookies and still i get it funny until the last 2 new versions i never had this problem it is a Firefox problem not mine. i would have thought you would have fixed it by now
